Learning

Whenever you go to school, go to your job, do an extra curricular activity, your always learning, school you gaining knowledge, work your learning how to adapt and discuss with people around you and doing an extra curricular activity, your learning a new skill. Kung fu you learn a whole lot more though. Kung fu you learn discipline, respect, ways to apply knowledge to everyday life, etc. The list could go on forever. Each class you always learn something different whether that be a new technique or and improvement on your form, but they key principles are always there and you are able to take them to different aspects of your life.

Families

For whoever was at class this Thursday you would know that I wasn’t there. The reason for this is me and my family went to jasper for three days to go skiing. It was beautiful weather and we all had a great time. Having family time like this is very important especially when it’s on a vacation. Spending time with your family gives you a nice little break from the real world and you can just relax and share moments together. True family members are there for you always and will help you with any struggle you may have. With all of this in mind, the I Ho Chuan team isn’t entirely different. We will all help someone if they need helping, learn from those who are willing to teach, and most importantly, depend on one another to be successful. Long story short, the I Ho Chuan group is just another family who will always be there no matter what. When someone strays away from the team, the team just become that much weaker Push ups: 1550 Sit ups: 1550 Hand forms: 12 Weapon forms: 14 ...

Blogging

This week has been a pretty low key week for me so it was hard to blog about anything. However blogging is one of the most important things to be successful in I Ho Chuan so why don’t I just blog about blogging? By far blogging has been the most unsuccessful part of both my years. I always thought I would be able to fly under the radar and not be noticed but that was definitely not the case. I’m sure everyone in I Ho Chuan knew I wasn’t blogging. The moral of this is that although you believe that you may not be obvious or you won’t get caught, it is really obvious. I wish I would’ve learned this sooner but I’m glad I know this now and I’m excited to upload every week to my blog! 👍   Push ups: 1050 Sit ups: 1050 Weapon form: 8 Hand form: 6
