My weekend

As some of you guys already know, I joined a business club for our high school. All we basically do is get a case that a real life business would face and try to come up with a solution in three hours. Saturday was my first actual competitive case competition. Our team drove down to Calgary and spent a night there in a pretty nice hotel. It had big, comfy beds,  a pool with a water slide and hot tub, and we had an amazing free breakfast. Anyway, moving on to the case competition, this was the only one this year that we were on a team with people from different schools. So I got to meet some new people, all of which came from private schools. That day was very long from a wake up at seven, case comp. starting at 8:45 to finally leaving Calgary at around five. That night was a long night. Eventually when today rolled around we raked some leaves and cleaned up the basement a little bit. Overall this weekend was a very fun, enjoyable, and educational weekend for me.

Choices

In English class, we had to write an essay about choices. About how the affect someone’s personality now and in the future. Throughout this time of writing, I was able to reflect on choices. I then realized all choices are is an opportunity. An opportunity to change you and your future. Every day you are faced with a challenge, with that challenge is a choice. Whenever you make a choice you are changing yourself in the present and the in the future. Every choice has a consequence, big or small, bad or good. Every choice can change your future so make the right choices now. Although the choice has to be made, sometimes it’s hard to make the decision between the possibilities. You need to weigh the pros and cons of the outcomes and decide on what’s best for you. Sometimes there is no positive outcome between the choices, you will just need to make sure that you can make something positive about the negative outcome.

High school now

It is now over a month into high school and there is many new things discovered and yet still stuff to discover. Over this course of time I have made many friends with in all of my classes, some of which are in more than one class with me. I have settled in with my classes this semester and I am already starting to know my teachers. So far I have been doing good not only with coping with high school but trying my best and getting good grades. Over the course with me being in the I Ho Chuan, blogging really helps with my evangelist skills. I encourage everyone, even if your not in school anymore, to blog every week. It gives you the chance reflect on yourself and what you have done. That is really important yet not that many people do it anymore. Moving back into high school, I have joined a business club that gives me the opportunity to travel places and learn about real life situations that businesses counter. At a young age, travelling is really important because you can actually...
